The Diamondback Trace is the perfect multi-sport bike to tend to your weekend exercise or to complete a few simple tasks around town. It's designed to be functional, efficient and, most of all, comfortable. It has several key features that enables it to do so much and still offer great value. It's manufactured with formed top and down tubes for maximum durability, but by using aluminum, the Trace stays light and agile; the best of both worlds. Then, a high tensile steel fork delivers confident steering and takes the sting out of any unevenness in the pavement. Finally, the addition of Tektro Aries disc brakes slow you down by braking on 160mm rotors instead of the rim. This technology, borrowed from mountain biking, insures that you achieve maximum stopping power, even in the most adverse weather conditions. The Trace was designed with a Shimano 21-speed drivetrain. Intuitive Easyfire shifters easily change cable tension on the Shimano Altus rear derailleur. The result is a ride that's efficient and requires little to low maintenance.
