The bike's rear hub comes ready to add on a cassette and the frame is ready to take on a derailleur, cable stops, or down tube shifters. This thing is ready for fenders, a rack, your choice of handle-bars and any kind of terrain you can find. This bike is set up with sealed bearing hubs for less rolling resistance than old style bearings and less frequent servicing when you ride in dirt or rain. Also the frame's tire clearance allows for you to ride on super skinny race tires or a fatter dirt tire - it's up to you.
